Hi Guys, it has been a while since i flew my drone, just some tips for guys who do not fly every so often as this is what i do everytime:

• ensure your batteries are fully charged before flight, if it has been in storage for a while please put battery on charger
• I always do a firmware refresh via assistant if my drone has been stored away for a few weeks then once done i let the drone coold down followed by a cold imu recallibration followed by a Gimble recal
• I then do a compass recal
• I check all my props for any wear and tear
• ensure all my sensors are clean and free from any dust
• clean out all vents
• clean around the arms and Gimble with a ear bud
• I spray a little wd40 at arm joints keeps them from getting stuck and ensure free movement
• checks screws for rust ( if frequent ocean flyer remove and soak in viniger will remove rusting)
• before take off check compass direction on app to ensure drone red triangle facing correct way if not check your compass calibration on your drone and your phone
• on take off ensure compass readings are in green
• check your battery cell status to ensure all is good not defective cell readings
• ensure homepoint is recorded
• do some small movments while checking the compass to ensure no funnies
  

these are some of the things I do, if I have put any wrong info please feel free to add and correct.
