During the winter in Europe, my girlfriend and I took a break from the cold weather and traveled to Thailand and Malaysia.  Our trip took us to Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Krabi, Koh Mook (Ko Muk), Koh Lipe, Langkawi and Kuala Lumpur.

In recent years, the rules for drone pilots in Thailand have changed very frequently. There are many confusions and not all the information you find on the internet is up to date. I registered my drone with the CAAT, but never got an answer. For this reason, I flew without official permission. I did not have any problems anywhere. The people reacted very positively. If in doubt, just ask the local people if it would bother them or avoid places with a lot of people.
