I am truly considering it. But because my racers are micro's, I would
have to buy a larger racer which would put me in the thousand to twelve
hundred range. If I'm going to spend that much I might as well just get the MP2.

With the release of this product, I bet a race drone is in the works... just think of all the over-priced replacement parts DJI could sell us

So this might have been answered, but I would like clarification before spending this much on another set of goggles.

How does the RC talk to my drone? I see no transmitter for the drone side, does the Air Unit connect to my F4 Flight Controller?

If they finally do in the racing drone scene I can see it costing $1499 easily.
extra parts 4 motors $399, frame $ 299, wire set $ 149. You may be on to something

Am I the only one confused by compatibility issues with third party drones?   Since DJI isn't pairing this with one of their existing drones I can't imagine how this even works?   

I'm really excited about this system.
But why does it cost 1077 USD for Experience Combo in Russia? While in the rest of the world it's 819 USD.
Also fpv units in russia cost 230 USD as opposed to 179 USD everywhere else. Doesn't make any sence.

This really makes me want to try FPV!

If you want to use it to control your drone it has SBUS (or PPM?) out. In any case it talks to a FC like any other rx. But you don't even have to use it as a control radio. You can simply use the video portion and use whatever you want for control... 900MHz, 2.4GHz... whatever.

These look nice but nothing new for digital FPV. Amimon has had it for years and you can use any FPV goggle that accepts an HDMI input. The tuning from the controller is nice but I have never had the need to make changes like that while in the air. With no GPS and ultra fast response you do not let go of the sticks. Seems like a good product. should do well

This takes fpv to a whole new level!

I would guess DJI releases the Spark 2 and couples it into two versions: the first will be a Spark 2 aerial camera drone that will be an update to the current Spark and the second will be the Spark 2 FPV that will have the FPV camera shrunk down embedded into the flight controller. Both will be the same exact drone, one with likely a 4K camera and the second with a HD FPV camera system compatible with the new FPV System??

I believe per DJI's FAQ only the FPV remote and goggles work with the system unless you solder in your own receiver to use your own transmitter like a Taranis or such controller. No mention of using any other DJI controller with this system at all sorry.
