Many people are commenting that mounting your mobile phone to the side of the Ronin SC makes no sense. This is likely because they are only thinking of app features like Active Track and Force Mobile. But, what about all the other things the SC can do through the app? I personally have a great appreciation for a side-mount when performing most app-specific tasks like Time/Motion Lapse, for instance. Not having to hold onto my phone or keep up with where I placed during an extented shoot is defintely a perk for me. Also, when shooting videos that require me to play music from a phone, having an on-gimbal phone mount changed the game for me. I mean, even with my Ronin M and My Ronin S, I added phone mounts. I would have done the same with the Ronin SC but did not have to because DJI included a mount! No complaints here. I see the logic!
