Yep Ive read the minium requirements, but now we are moving into more 16gb ram and faster processors, do you think the minium is enough or better to upgrade? Seems like you can spend your way into oblivion with some of these laptops. Trying to decide if I should go with more like the minium Dell G3 with I5 for $1600 Aud Or Dell G3 with I7 9th gen, $2000 Aud
Adobe lists this as the minium requirement.
64-bit multi-core processor (Intel 6th Gen or AMD FX).
64-bit Windows 10.
2 GB VRAM.
8 GB RAM.

Well thanks for all the help everyone! But maybe it was for the best anyway. Had a sales advertising mailer through the door today from a local electronics store and front page there is the G3 with I7 marked down to $1599. Snapped that puppy up and booting it up now. Finally I'll be able to edit with Adobe Premier pro.

The G3 has been a real workhorse. Runs everything really well so far. Only draw back is it is heavy, so not a laptop I'd want to transport around too much.

I only have a Spark so Im shooting in 1080, but my previous laptop couldn't handle anything in Adobe. I Could have gone with something a little less powerful but it was such a deal on the 16gb ram G3 I couldnt pass it up. Plus I can work with 4k when I upgrade the drone.
