Hello flyers,

I wanna hear your opinion or advice, what cause this crash on Mavic 2 PRO flight. Actually, there was 2 crashes, but both of them was with same battery, and without some warnings in logs. Between these two crash flights, there was 3 flights with another battery, and all was good.

First flight fall was from 3,5m
https://app.airdata.com/flight/17a87780f3002a48353073d04af3d9de/GENERALNotifications

Second flight fall was from 27,4m
https://app.airdata.com/flight/6206eec94752bbb2245633286a6c9ee2/GENERALNotifications

In both cases, there was power loss in the air, I suppose, so further information in logs from that moment are not recorded.

I hope so we will solve this one.
Thank you.

The .dat file logs from the tablet/phone will tell more - you'll see cell voltages and so on.

Upload the flight log here - https://www.phantomhelp.com/LogViewer/Upload/ and give us the link. You could also provide the flight logs/MCDATFILES with google drive. Someone should be able to look those over for you.

DAT files cannot be exported from drone, because it is not possible to get stable usb connection after second crash.

They're on the controller not the drone.

All though some have thought these were RC logs, they are in fact flight logs.

Everything about logs is as it should be, until end of log it just reads Manual and then nothing no readings of altitude battery etc, so yes it looks like complete power out , and obviously craft falls to the ground, I’m surprised that from a height of 28 meters there was not substantial damage, second crash at 3.5 meter same end result.

Only thing consistent in both flights was warning of upward obstacle avoidance but looking at the area you flew in I didn’t see any obstacles.

I would advise sending craft in to dji to have it checked, you may before doing that contact a moderator here and ask them if they can get an engineer to take a look at the log from your craft which should show a little more of what could have happened, it could be the battery but that’s not certain and if it’s a problem with your craft then you run a serious risk of this reoccurring from higher altitude and the possibility of causing much More damage to your craft property and possibly to people.

SoI would take the matter seriously until you know what is causing your problem .

The instructions for retrieving the DAT files from the mobile device are here. The one associated the first log you posted should be FLY018.DAT and the file for the second should be FLY002.DAT.

Based on your description, the battery involved in both crashes would be most likely cause.  Possible battery is warped and not staying locked in place.

Hi, we're sorry for the mishap that happens to your drone. If the drone damage from the incident occurred, it's recommended to sync the flight records using the DJI Go 4 app and contact our support using the link below. For additional information, the warranty can be applied depending on the outcome of the damage assessment and the warranty period of the unit. We do appreciate your understanding.

1st was from 3,5m, and 2nd was from 28m

Yeah, looks to be exactly what you said, at about 3.5m and 28m you seem to loose either all power or full connection to the drone. DJI will most likely want the drone back to check all the logs, they seem to want all the flight logs and vision files these days.
Also looks like your item is in the DOA period, i'm not sure what the period currently is for a consumer in your region, but you should ask because if you are inside the DOA period and your drone is warranty DJI should replace your entire product with a brand new one.
