We really understand your concern. The absolute altitude in photos recorded is the height measured by barometer, GPS, ultrasonic and other sensors together. When the aircraft is in the air, it mainly uses the barometer to calculate height. While the barometer is easily affected by the environment. So this value will not very accurate.

I think when number of gps satellites are enough, it's better to use gps for height calculation instead of barometer.

Do you agree with me?

So far, I haven't found any need for height calculation with my Pocket.
