I passed the advanced operation exam and I now need to pass the flight review exam. I need to buy a radio and I would need suggestion.

Do I absolutely need a two-way radio ? I checked on amazon and most radio are 300-500$, but I guess they are expensive because they have a gps/satelite...

Not sure what your requirements are but check out "baofeng". They make inexpensive two way radios.
