DJI announced the introduction of AirSense to all their drones weighing 250 g and more as early as January 2020. I wonder how this will affect the prices of the Spark and Mavic series.

Na, imho its not.
It is the other way round, b/c it is just one more receiver chip on board, to read the signals of manned aircrafts. To give the drone pilot a chance, to get out of the way, if flying around there by accident.
The sending of the drones information is, afaik, anyway implemented in the dji signal from the drone to the rc/device. Just need some encryption to read.
And more and more governments will start to upgrade there systems,  to get to this info

Here in Europe there is a directive, CAP1789, which is due to come into effect in 2022. At the moment there are no set in stone requirements but it is highly speculated that the current range of drones - Spark, Mavic 1&2, Phantom, Inspires, and those from other manufacturers - will not meet the required specifications and will be classed as legacy equipment, meaning their use will not be permitted for certain tasks in certain areas.

All drones without it will be classified as legacy drones but they can still be flown without additional restrictions until 2022 and even then national aviation authorities may still accept them under special terms.
