Hi all, newly purchased smart controller, after update - green lines on display, after power off / on display is dark.
Device not recognized by assistant 2.0.8. Still waiting for "promised" technical support.

Trying different key combinations, still no luck for "factory reset"..
I am currently 2 thousands kilometers from home, where unit was purchased, so hoping on miracle.. mavic 2 pro + dji smart ctrl is currently completely useless.

Any ideas are appreciated.

green lines on display usually is a hardware issue with graphics or display cable/connection in my experience..  admittingly my experience is with computers not mobile devices/smart controller...but still..

no backlight or lights happening at all?  or does it turn on then back off/bootloop?

Remote control lights and beeps are present. android part seems dead, display is dark and not coming up.

Green lines looked just like wrong resolution and came up right after finishing update. It is ridiculous situation for brand new device, obviously there is something wrong with "update of death", still can't believe this happened, but "hardware" issue doesn't sounds logical from mine experience, someone has failed seriously in software.

Anyway searching for magical combination, which could bring up the bootloader back.

You wrote you tried different key combinations to do a factory reset. Have you tried to tap System and then Advanced and then Reset options? Not able to check this exactly on my SC, but should be similar steps.

Would be nice Marty, but entire android part is dead, no menus, no display only ruined plans.

So far found that C1 + C2 + Shutter + left (back) or right (home) buttons => blue led is on, fan goes on and this only if not connected over usb

Brief update, I am finally back, so tomorrow will visit local distributor and return smart controller for repair.

Meanwhile guess I have found "magic" combination which puts controller in sort of bootloader mode. Interesting, device is recognized as USB Device 2207:330C, obviously regular drivers doesn't apply, after bit more research seems that "smart" controller is based on Rockchip RK3399. There is plenty information and tools available, but don't have time to investigate further.

Got a call from Dji "support" after a week .. with regular explanation that probably firmware gets corrupted during update.. and nothing can be done.
There are lot of things that can be actually done, but that is another topic.

Disappointing dji.

The Standard Controller Obviously is more reliable than this Toy. the screen being so small makes it so much harder for many shots. anybody who paid $750 for it... OMG!

Same for me for a smart controler right out of the box.
Never displayed anything (except a white back light for one sec) even after first power on.

Waiting for a right and good answer from technical dep.

Could you please share that magic combination? Thanks.
