When I turn the drone off in 180° pano and back on with that mode unchanged, it will Not shoot unless you come out of the mode into something else then back into it. I've tried it twice to make sure after a second power off to on take-off and it does the same thing.
So, the controller shows you are still in 180 mode but it is not really in that mode? I guess turning off the drone resets it to "x" mode (normal??) but the controller shows the wrong info? Are you also saying, it won't take any pictures until you switch modes?
