I noticed Pix 4d capture does not support Phantom 4 Advanced. Any suggestions as to which app is best for flight planning to create orthoimages and do photogrammetry? Also which software would you recommend for the actual orthoimagery and photogrammetry processing?

try precisionhawk for ortho images it should work on your p4

I have no recommendation for post processing
I use pix4d mapper

The pix4d website does not show the P4 Advanced as not compatible.
It just says not tested.
It would be surprising if the drone does not work as it's almost identical to the P4 pro.
Give it a try if you really want to use pix4d.
Otherwise you could try the leading mapping app, DroneDeploy which does show the Advanced as being supported.

Also,  try MapsMade Easy for map processing.

Smaller maps are free to process.....mostly for practice and understanding what you get for deliverables.

Pix4d Capture works with P4A. Just select P4P as the drone.
I use MapPilot mainly and Pix4d Capture for Circular (POI) missions.
