This video was filmed entirely with the DJI mavic 1 pro, just buying the Mavic 2 pro. Loved so much the first mavic so I told myself: how could I not love the 2nd ;).
TIps and tricks:
1. Record 4k, if your editing computer can handle it. Why ? because I export as 1080p which gives me 50% digital zoom when I edit the footage...WITHOUT LOOSING QUALITY !! If you think about this, any drone becomes a ''zoom'' edition drone ;) .. oh yeah you're welcome
2. Moves : like always, avoid direct turns, hard carving. keep it mellow. keep it simple. practice your turns slowly keeping the same exact speed. Then you can add another motion, like the gimbal tilt while turning. Once you're good to go with all of this and your shots are nice and mellow, try adding a third movement : my favorite : rise, yaw, down gimbal tilt. try it !
3. Editing: the music is about 40% the experience of a video (in my opinion). Please don't watch a video without music, you are just ruining it. That beeing said, match your music beat with the video. Get the flow going. With experience, youll realize the beat of the music is getting the beat of your video. In this Ireland edit, you can tell that the beat is hard and rough, which is why I was cutting my shot directly to another one, giving the beat of the video. Once the music calmed down, this is when i added the easy going shots, likes clouds, not too much action. Try figuring it out
4. Get out there: this is the basics, I travel a lot which gives me lots of footage to edit. By doing so I get better everytime. Go travel, go hike, explore your hometown with a new perspective, get to places you never been before you might get surprised of what you see..from the bird's eye view
Thanks panda appreciate it this is my 2018 trip to Ireland we were quite lucky with the weather as there was no rain in a full month. And we know that it constantly rain over there hehe.
