The Drone Code is a set of rules of conduct that summarizes just a few basic rules that you must follow before you take off to ensure a safe and smooth flight. But it's very important that you know all the drone regulations well.
It flies to the Regulation and Consultation area and downloads the Regulation on operating conditions applicable to the use of airspace by remotely piloted civil aircraft systems (“Drones”) and the Airspace Use Guide.
In the Frequently Asked Questions area you can still find answers to your questions.
Know where you can fly
The Fly on Good Map shows you all areas where you cannot fly, including airports and their operational protection areas, with all nationally certified aerodromes, prohibited areas and restricted or temporarily reserved military areas.
Download the Kmz file (“RPA_ver_5.0.kmz Regulation”) and install it. When you open Google Earth, you will know if you are in a free zone or are restricted by aeronautics.
It also highlights the existence of specific areas in Lisbon where overflighting is not allowed, for reasons related to internal security and the protection of sovereignty and heritage organs, and these areas can be viewed on the following map in Google Earth: “ Areas_Lisboa.kmz ”.
It also warns against the impossibility of flying over embassies and consular offices, military installations, security forces and services, police missions, correctional facilities and educational centers of the Directorate General for Reinsertion and Services. Prisoners
Such facilities are generically and easily visually identified on the facades of buildings or on the physical boundaries or barriers that delimit such facilities.
In the Airspace Usage Guide you will be able to consult all the information regarding the national airspace.
Thanks for watching.
