The new firmware v01.10.00.30 has been released, go ahead to update, it will not affect the connection.

I just updated the firmware using my iPhone SE and now cannot connect using the lightning connector. Please help!!!

cannot connect to iphone SE via the lightning adapter. it worked perfectly before, also connects via wireless adapter.

have tried to update it through the mimo app to .30 but it stops at 50% after downloading before install saying something like you have to install the update through the mobile adapter. nice.

i'm on firmware .21 now

please help to fix this.

The app needs to be connected to the device so that it can install the firmware.

Probably the adapter. Try a lightning to USB-C cord. They can be had pretty cheap, cheaper than a new DJI adapter.

i already bought something else to connect, a wireless module. the lightning adapter worked fine until the update. why do i have to buy SOMETHING ELSE even if i can connect to the mimo app through wireless adapter, that's just stupid

Allow me to repeat; Probably the adapter.

Things break. If we are talking the original, that came with the Pocket, it could be broken. It's not the sturdiet piece of equipment.

Is there a DJI reseller near you? Do you know anyone else with a Pocket. Try one of their adapters.

Did you try to update to the latest firmware via an Android phone? If the device has been sent back, please keep us updated with the case number if you need any further assistance.

I sent it back - They have diagnosed a connection pin issue on the Osmo
The Osmo Pocket Controller Wheel worked OK with the Osmo
Neither the iPhone connector or usb-c connector worked so presumably a pin is specifically used for a phone and not the wheel
All I have ever done is swop between the wheel and the phone connector so there has always been something connected to the osmo so it's a bit worrying that it can get "damaged" as this is a regular thing we do swopping these around
They have sent a replacement unit rather than repair mine which is a bit of a concern as whilst it looks new it is probably someone else's failed unit that been repaired (according to DJI policy they can do this)
I notice that the last file name on my SD card was DJI_0802 and the first video taken on this camera was DJI_0940 !.  So presumably I got a previously used unit
I treated mine with great care and how was this one treated ?
All seems to work so far so hopefully I will have no issues

I've been having frequent disconnection issues on my iPhone Xr as well. Started a support ticket way back in May 2019 when I first got my OP. Also posted in this thread: https://forum.dji.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=189758

When it disconnects the battery charge icon comes on. I have retry many times for the iPhone to recognize it again. A lot of times I have to take out the connected an put it back in for it to work. But the connection is never dependable. Would love for someone to provide an answer to this

I just got my Pocket today. And I can‘t connect it to my iPhone XS Max.
It isn‘t recognized at all.
However I tried connecting it to my iPad Pro using the USB C Connector. That worked and I could update to the .30 Firmware Version. But still I can‘t connect it to my iPhone using the lightning connector.

Hello I'm having the same issue, people were helped in the past but WHY is there no public download link of previous firmware? My osmo is up to date with the latest, IT will NOT recognize my iphone 6. It connects without issues to my galaxy S9+.
Someone please help or provide me the download link for the firmware that has helped so many previous people in this thread..

Solution for my problem was a broken connector.
Checked it in the DJI Store and found it worked with another one.

After I got mine changed it works!
