What firmware did they put you on with the fix?

Even if I had the firmware the thing doesn't communicate with the app so how do we update it !!!!

There is a procedure where you can update using an SD card.

From post 119:
For everyone having trouble I just got my connection issues to my iPhone X fixed via the very helpful Online Support.

After confirming the issue is with the latest update they will give a link and a password to firmware that's around 100mb. Just put the file on your Osmo's SD card and the next time you turn it on it will update and fix the issue. Took less than 5mins and my Osmo connects fine to my iPhone X again

That explains the "secrecy"... Unlike Osmo Action, normally DJI does not release downloadable firmwares for Osmo Pocket...

Maybe the "Pocket team" could take note of the "Action" team. It would save a lot of confusion.

Well, a lot of our update wishes for the pocket (max auto iso setting, short 4K time lapse interval etc. etc.) are already there in the action, so that definitely is a good idea

Owning both, I can confidently say that the pocket is a significantly better camera, especially when it comes to image quality.

That is why it is kind of sad to see the pocket not getting the developer attention it should and falling behind it's sibling in function...

It has nothing to do with your iPhone X. I'm having similar issue with my iPhone 8 Plus. I can get my Mimo app to work with my Bluetooth adapter, but not with my Lightning port adapter. I thought it was the lightning port adapter, so I bought a new one, but no joy. It all started after the latest update.

Interesting enough, although the lightning port doesn't start the Mimo App, the pocket does charge my phone with the lightning port adapter.

Having the same problem on my iPhone 8. Can't believe I had to sign up to a forum and ask for a fix by PM to get a fix. I don't know what's the deal with the secrecy, this fix should be out, acknowledged and available officially.

I know, and that makes it way more frustrating. Knowing there's a fix to a problem they created but not being able to get it right away and having to wait till somebody cares to help. I guess we'll have to patiently wait till Mindy shows up...

You put the downloaded firmware onto the micro SD card you use to record in the DJI Osmo Pocket itself. When you switch the pocket on with the firmware on the card it will automatically install. Recommend deleting it afterwards or else it will install the firmware every time you turn the pocket on.

Try the website's online support. I got mine fixed via them within around 20 mins. Posted about this earlier in this form but I guess it's been buried...
