I shot this during a brief visit to Trona, a borax mining town in the Searles Valley. This was just three weeks after the town had been hit by two large earthquakes, so I have a few shots of some damage -- mostly from the ground, but some is visible from the drone.
This is the first in a series of videos from my 2019 trip, where I explored old mines, mining camps, ghost towns and other historic sites in Nevada and the Mojave desert.

Thanks. Trona's a neat little town. I feel sorry for the folks there, the town has already struggled enough prior to the earthquake.
I agree that Trona is a neat town. I heard they are still having aftershocks. Hopefully, this will cease soon and they can get the plant and their little town repaired.
