Hey,
I bought a focus wheel +motor in order ro shoot danse footage.
I am facing a problem.My lens seems too short for the mecanism to work, I mean the the gears can't enter into contact because of the basis plate not allowing to set the camera a bit backwards( clearer on picture). This is so stupid! I mean, I really needs to use it as it so random and chaotic to do it manually!Hope not AGAIN an accessory to buy...

I believe in the manual it shows that you can also mount the unit to the rear of the plate. Maybe try that with the longer rod?

Hi Alex, you can mount the whole Focus Motor on the right side of the camera, or the Focus Motor Gear can also be mounted on the rear of the Focus Motor, please have a try, thanks.
