The FPV system manual states "keep the air unit away from metal objects or carbon fiber frames." It never really specifies a distance from these objects or the results of locating it near them. I'm assuming it has to do with heat as this little sucker gets fairly hot and that would transfer into metal objects or even the frame. Does it have a profound effect on the transmission? Is there a minimum distance from either?

I did notice how hot the unit gets when i was setting up the quad in betaflight....wow

Anytime I plug a quad into a computer for BetaFlight or BLHeli I run a desktop fan next to it.

i think there should be no problem its heat protected it will power down and shut off if it gets to hot
