For the last 9 month, Osmo Pocket was the best camera for me.
The best camera that makes me shoot more video than ever before.

The form factor and picture quality is just right, it natually encourages your casual shooting into a bit more searious one.
So I was been looking for the right travel accessories that will upgrade my shooting better for the upcoming trip to Turkey and yet maintain the easy and simple nature of the relaxed trip.






And after returing from the trip, here is my report on testing various accessories and Osmo Pocket in real world senario as a casual traveller and casual film maker.

Second camera : iPhone 7 (for FOV shot)

The best part of this setup is a gimbal cover that makes you be able to sling Osmo Pocket out of you pocket with only one hand and returning it.



It makes Osmo Pocket the fastest camera you can draw out of your pocket and shoot it to your target.



How to Fast shoot Osmo Pocket!

Step 1 : Draw your Osmo Pocket out of you pocket.
Step 1.5 : While it is still a half way out of your pocket, cock it by taking the gimbal cover off and leave it in the pocket.
Step 1.8 : While it is still a half way up to your sight, boot it.
Step 2 : Shoot it. When camera is on and upto your eye level for aim.
Extra Step : Don't forget to bend your knees to absorb the vertical bounce back when you shoot.


Next best thing is to fly it like a drone. (as all other DJI product does)





Because it is so light and gimbal absorbs most of shakes, you can elevate it with almost any cheap selfie stick.
Just make sure you do your preflight check.

At the moment, you need some specific device to transfer file to HDD.
There is one called 'WD My Passport Wireless Pro' that connect HDD to iPad through Wifi and other one is 'RAV Power File Hub' which is an Wifi hub for HDD.

But I don't recommend to buy it at the moment. Because soon Apple will release iPad OS 13 that makes ipad to connect to HDD through USB cable natively. Apple event is expected to happen on September 10th or 11th and it is likely they release the update the same day.

So if possible, I would wait it out.
If you cannot wait the update... then there is an other way but... it is easier to wait.

Yeah, I used it heavily through out the year.
Rather use it more and wear it down then having it stored in the drawer.
