Is the lightning to USB, is that one USB END into the bottom of the controller? And other end to your cellphone? I use a S7 Samsung

you can use the USB A port on the bottom of the controller to connect up any smart device that runs DJI Go 4. if you use the USB A port however you will need to unplug any other cables connected tot he RC.   

additionally you can  use a micro USB to whatever adapter to plug your smart device into the controller on the side

You definitely don't want to buy a Lightning to USB cable if you're using an Android mobile device. Lightning cables can only be used with Apple devices.

You'll want the USB to Micro USB or USB to Type C depending on which android device you intend to use. Lightning is for apple products only
