I'm planning a trip to the west cost, can someone give me information on flying. Should I use carrie-on or baggage?

I'd put the Spark in the checked baggage, and the only half full charged batteries in the hand luggage.
If still unsure, ask the airline about travelling with a drone.

Bring the batteries on with you below 50% with covers over the connectors - put the rest pf the gear with your main luggage

When I fly I just put it in my carry on bag.

Most passengers would appreciate you not bringing carrion.
