No issues at all! Club Med, the resort I was at were super cool about it and it could have not have gone any better. I have heard that other hotels are very different though.

Nice video! I'm heading to Cancun in April and am looking forward to flying!   I've taken my drone  internationally (Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, etc) before and looks like you didn't have any issues.  Hope it is just as easy for me.  Any tips to make it easier?

I flew in Cozumel on an excursion.  So it was a somewhat controlled environment, private beach and catamaran.  I just asked the staff if I could fly to take video and they encouraged it.  I did not fly from any vessel but did fly from the beach and got good footage of other boats and activities that were going on.

Thanks, I'm sure I'll have an opportunity.  I'll just make sure to play by the rules and not give us drone pilots a bad name
