I am looking to set up my mavic air with dynamic home point: in case of issue it would come back where the remote is. I can see that it´s available for most of the drones, but I can´t find anything for the mavic air. Is it available?

Some DJI drones offer this Dynamic Home Point option:



This feature automatically resets the home point to the mobile device's current location at set intervals while flying in ActiveTrack mode. When using other flight modes, you'll need to manually reset the home point each time you move to a new location.

Hi, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, the DJI Mavic Air doesn't have the Dynamic Home Point feature. This matter has already been forward to our designated department. Thank you for your kind and understanding.

Designated department has filed request DJI style: in the bin.
This has been an ongoing issue since the Air was launched a few years ago.

"... the aircraft will continuously update the home point accordingly to its current position while tracking a person"
"its" means the aircraft coordinates in the sentence, not the device.
What about aircraft Following the device, not tracking an object?
