New firmware is just updated and had a quick look.
Having a firmware update is always pleasure DJI



Interesting update features as usual.




2.7K Video shooting.
- Video resolution is 2720 x 1530  

- 50Mbps @30FPS

- 63Mbps @48FPS

- 69Mbps @60FPS

- Super Fine Quality setting is available upto 30FPS


Would be very handy for 1080P shooters for editing margin.






So far, improved Phase AF speed is very smooth and accurate.

Above near to far focus shift is very smooth and speed is just right for video shooting.

Will go out to test night focus and motionlapse focus improvement but motionlapse focus is already improved nicely.
I wonder if it means it will shift focus from near to far during motionlapse shooting?

Looking better all the time.   Can someone explain the advantage of 2.7k resolution please.  Also, can it be edited in Adobe Premier Elements?

Thanks for the info.  Apart from the actual content of the update, it's good that DJI are still issuing updates at all.  (I shall nothing about hoping for another update improving the joins between split files. Absolutely nothing.  Not a word.)

Did you order the  freewell wide angle lens? I just saw that it's already online in the freewell webstore - just placed my order. seen a review video on youtube - looks quite promising. way better than the cheap one I have right one (not that the 29$ for the freewell lens is expensive  either - for the quality way more worth than my current one)

2.7K can make shaper 1080P video but lighter to edit than 4K.
