when I push the Video button on to remote to start taking video it works fine. and if I push the camera button to take a shot it stops the video and takes the pictures. But when I push the Video button again to start the video, I cannot get it to start taking video without hitting the button on the screen.

There is the really, really annoying delay writing to the mSD card...  You can't start taking video till it finishes writing it seems, and for raw+jpg that cam be as much as 20 seconds it seems...

But other than that, mine seems to start recording from photo mode, but only if I wait for that delay.  (Running 1.1.0 on android)

Thanks, I probably made it even worse, cause I was using a standard 32gb card and not a hs/hd card like the 16gb they sent with the unit.
Have to go purchase a 64gb hs card for it. have a 32gb in the tab which is also a 16gb internal
