I saw a post online regarding this topic but not sure if anything official has been released regarding this. Is there any official news on something being released? Something similar to the Spark that folds for more portability and records 4k.

No problem.  I have a strong feeling that it should be 4K.  It's probably going to be @ 30fps, as DJI seems to only reserve 4K @ 60fps for it's commercial line.
