Since a recent update (1 day ago) my account is stuck in beginner mode. Which means i can't fly further than 50 meter and no higher than 30 meter. This is most likely a bug in the android app, since i have tried it with different accounts and it didn't solve this issue. So please DJI, send a update a.s.a.p. to solve this issue. No these products are of no use.

I also flashed the drone and tried to reset all but it had no effect so far.

Also in the DJI PILOT app i don't see my profil picture. Don't know if that says something ? I also have a issue with my own position in this app. Every time when the drone starts my position (the remote) is displayed somewhere left on the map? It is really consistent so don't really mind. But this seems like a bug to me?

If you use Dji Pilot app 1.5.0 that app works ok.
I use it with my MP1 and there is nothing wrong  in that app.

Log out of the app and force stop the app in settings on your device.
Restart your device and log in to the app again.


Also look at your settings in app if Local Data Mode is on or off. Off on mine.

Issue Solved. But not sure what made the magic happen.

Issue:
Problem was that i could not go higher than 30m and limited distance of 50m. "beginner mode". And the day before i went way over 30 and 50 meter.
Issue started after an update. (which one i don't recall, Sorry)

Thing's i tried:
-Yes, alle parameters where correct and not the limitation. ;-)
-Logging out and in
-Logging in with other account
-Reinstalling the app on my telephone

All didn't solve the issue

Next step:
-Flashed the drone with the latest software (this was also already on the drone)
-Reinstalled app on telephone and logged in.
-Reboot telephone (android)
-Local data mode ON >Enable Map Request ON Local data mode OFF. (See reply from G_Sig)
-Gave it a big huge and some more love

And then this issue was magically solved. I suspect rebooting my telephone might have already solved this issue. Just so you know ;-)

Seems i have to reboot the phone everytime i start the drone. There must be a way to fix this? any ideas?

Mmmm that is new for me. I'm planning on doing some more test coming weekend. If i face this issue i definitely let you know and probably solve it ;-). For now i don't have a solution but you might want to try and dump you cache memory instead of rebooting your phone. That is basically what also happens when you preform a reboot, but only cache dump is quicker. Hope it helps. For now, good luck.

I've got the same problem, but rebooting my phone didn't help. When i tried the hint to turn Local Data Mode on, there came a sort of "license? agreement" with a checkbox. Perhaps this is the problem that after the app update you have to accept this once? I'll try later if i can fly away more than 50m now.
