Hi All,

Is it possible to connect and Android device via Bluetooth to the controller? I am building a custom app using the Mobile SDK and would like to leverage Bluetooth connection to the controller.

Thank you, experts!!

Hi, thanks for the inquiry. We're sorry that the Spark's remote controller could only support wi-fi connection or OTG cable when connecting the phone. Thank you for understanding.

Thank you for your reply! A few follow up questions below:

  • Is there documentation on set up using the OTG cable?
  • Are there any configurations that need to be changed to ensure connection over OTG?
  • Is there a specific set of cables that are supported?
  • What determines an OTG cable vs a simple adapter?
  • Is there specific API calls in the Mobile SDK to leverage OTG vs wifi connection?
