It is about the hand movement of the photographer. First set the camera to slow motion. Then ask the guy in the far end to jump captured in the slow motion. at the last moment, the guy almost fall from the highest point, the photographer who takes the video, moves the camera towards the falling path of the guy. This action will offset the slow-motion and create normal video footage of the guy falling.

So the first part jump is slow-motion, and the falling part is normal footage.
