Does the Active Track feature use the mobile phone's accelerometers and video to do the tracking?  I've looked at a few videos and searched in here for a little more detailed info on this but haven't found any.  I guess my real question is does the phone have to be mounted to the camera?  I haven't played with it yet and trying to decide if I need to order the phone bracket or not.
