Is it just me, or does anyone else miss the flat bottom of the Osmo Mobile 2?

With the 2, if you just needed to put it down for a few seconds. you didn't need a stand, you could just place it upright on a table.  (See picture below)



With the three, it has a curved bottom so will only stand upright with a stand screwed into it.

Seems like an odd thing to do.

With the new grip of the DJI Osmo Mobile 3, it is about a 15 degrees tilt down which makes the unit much more comfortable to use. In addition the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 needs the Osmo Grip Tripod or other compatible Tripods so that the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 will be able to stand on tables or other level surfaces so that it remains stable without tipping over. Thank you.

Now you need an extra purchase

I never used my Osmo2 like this,  Id be too scared it would fall over,  always used a small cheap ebay tripod in the bottom.  You can also use it as a mini selfie stick too.

The combo pack includes a stand. It was just a couple bux more.
