Hi all,

I was very frustrated when I tried to create some content a couple of days ago, was then when I realized a few problems in my Canon 90D that didn't happen previously with my Canon 80D.

Might be good to go into the 80D page on the DJI site and click on the "Request your model" button, if enough people do that they might listen :-)

Dji i didnt know my 90D is not support it! I change from m50 to this and now is not working? So sad so stupid i dont understand why you do this to meeee

Ridiculous isnt it? Please go into the 80D page as shown below on the DJI support website and click on the "Request your model". Hopefully they might hear their customers!

I get that too.  Tried a few different things, but no luck.

Hi there, did you actually manage to get it working? You say ttechnically, but can you actually start and stop recording using the gimbal red button for example?

Hi Alex, yes you can start / stop video recording and take photos using the IR cable.
You just have to set your 90D to remote  for the pics.

I can't believe DJI is just going to ignore all of the requests.  Over 4000 people have looked at the thread to find an answer.  If they're not going to support the camera just say so. We're all big boy's and girl's.  Just say " We don't care what our customers want, we're not going to support the Canon 90D."

It's already been developed and going through the testing phase right now. As this isn't the only new camera being added, there's still some time to complete the final tests. It's coming.

Is the compatibility coming to the Ronin SC too please?

Does the ronin s work with the 18-135mm kit lens and does the zoom wheel work?

This page is saying that the 90-D can be controlled using the MCC-B cable.  Can anyone confirm that before I go and buy one?

I set up my Ronin-S today with my 90-D  and it's working well with the MCC-B cable.

Thanks.  I can also now confirm it does work.

Is it also working on Ronin SC?

I see it is now compatible with Canon 90D Firmware 1.0.0 - but many of us updated to Canon Firmware 1.1.1 because of the 24FPS recording capabilities - and since it's the first upgrade, the original firmware is not available to download and downgrade so we can use it with the Ronin. As of today, Canon Firmware 1.1.1 does not work with the Ronin S.

90D compatibility is finally here!!!

Did the update yesterday and it finally works with the 90D. Thanks DJI, now I'm happy.

Just upgraded the firmware. Ronin SC is now compatible with EOS 90D. Thanks Dji.
