Hi,

Crashed drone relatively hard and now the camera will not stay centered.  When tilting in one direction it will flip 90 degrees and stay there.  Also when moving left to right it seem to get lost to one side or the other.  Can this be fixed without replacing the whole camera system and how to tell if control board or a gimbal motor problem?

Thanks,

Matt

Here is a quick video showing the behavior..... https://youtu.be/1d113lyU3oY

Hello and good day Matt. I am sorry to know what happened to your DJI Phantom 3 Standard. Since there was a crash that had happened. I would recommend to contact our DJI Support team at  https://www.dji.com/support?site=brandsite&from=nav for further assistance with this matter. There might be an issue DJI Phantom 3 Standard internally after the said crash that is why this issue is happening. Just a friendly reminder that  DJI do not recommend doing a DIY in fixing the said drone after an indecent to avoid further damaging the said unit. Thank for your understanding and for your support.

It is most likely a damaged flexible cable connecting the gimbal to the main electronics, they are not expensive and relatively easy to replace.
