I recently bought a Mavi Air and am fresh in the area.
Can you use mobile phone / tablet without having a sim card, ie without surf, wifi, gps from the phone. How does it works?
What can be the disadvantages of not having a SIM card?

Hi, thanks for the inquiry. Having an internet access to your mobile device when flying the drone is not necessary. For the internet connections, you may need this for updating the firmware and application as well as the offline map. Hope that this would clarify your query. Thank you for your support.

If you don't have data connection on your cellphone, you loose the map view.
