I am scheduled to do a flight review for my advanced license next wednesday...

Not sure what to expect... has anyone done this... what was it like...?

Is there an app (or apps) that you used for the preflight planning, CFS, VTA, NOTAM's, checklist, etc?

any input would be appreciated.

Check out Don Joyce's app. Drone Pilot Canada. It has (updated) NOTAM access and will determine aerodrome status in your vicinity, also checklists and the ability to import your certificate and user manual.
