Hello everyone

This is my first post of a video I made from footage captured using a Mavic2 Pro offshore Western Australia which included multiple encounters with whales.

Hope you enjoy.

Be gentle on the criticisms - still a newbie with lots to learn.

Thanks very much! I was told that the Southern Right Whale population was at one stage reduced to 35 females, but they have recovered to over 2,000 now.

You need to look up distance from whales and people. That would be a start as you are too close to both.

Spectacular for you, illegal for the rest of us.
There’s a reason you don’t see much footage like this, because it’s illegal. 60m exclusion zone from whales in WA.
You are new but even so, it’s important to understand your responsibilities as a drone operator.
For the future enjoyment of other drone users, the privacy of the general public and the well-being of whales (particularly those with calves) all rely on you not feigning ignorance and flying like this.
