Hi to all, I have a Osmo Pro x5 that I use with the WiralLight for indoor ''drone'' low light recordings but the set up is not very elegant and the battery life not that great either.

I was hopping to know if is possible to use the Inspire 1 or 2 Gimbal to operate the X5 but without the full drone, just the electronic and battery set up that I can connect to my WiralLite and operate it with my iPad.

Does DJi sell this components seperatly so I can do a DIY set up or where can I get a ''racked'' Inspire with a workable gimbal.

Your post is year old, I think you've got the answer already. Yes, it is perfectly doable, but you'll have to hunt for scavenged parts since DJI will not sell you anything. I've made two builds of this kind, utilizing Inspire 2 Cinecore modules and X5S/x7 camera setup.
