Hey folks,

I'm using Spherical/Rectangular panoramas for a project and I'd like to determine north.

Right now I found GPS coordinates, altitude (abs./rel.), but nothing related to bearing/compass whatsoever.

Are there any hints in EXIF/XMP?
Best regards

Florian

Ok, did some field study on my own and got it.
XMP data contains gimbal yaw, pitch and roll. For panoramas, yaw and pitch describe the center of image.

I am facing this issue now, hope you can help.
I have a 360 image and I have this in the metadata:
Gimbal Yaw Degree               : -130.20
how to determine the north yaw ?
