Hi All

Does anybody have any experience of comparing the field of view from Mavic 2 Pro / Zoom / Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 ???

Basically, we have had over the years, a Phantom 2, Phantom 4 & currently, a Mavic Air.  Our sole use of these is real estate photography / videography.  As a result, one of the prime considerations is how much can the camera 'see' from a relatively close range, so that we can get the full property in shot without having to be over adjoining private land as much as possible.

When we went from the Phantom 4 to the Mavic Air, we felt there was a marked reduction in field of view but now we are wanting to upgrade from the Air, looking at the comparison table DJI provides, it seems to suggest that the Mavic 2 Zoom and Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 models have a similar FOV of 83 & 84 degrees respectively, while the Mavic 2 Pro only has a FOV of 77 degrees which isn't great.  This is also more worrying when you look at the specs for the Air which supposedly has a FOV of 85 degrees, meaning all three newer models have a smaller field of view and are therefore all worse for our purposes.

In summary, while we would love to upgrade for the better control systems and camera quality, we are having to consider whether the reduced field of view would prevent us going with any of the newer DJI product releases which would be a real shame!  Could anyone help with either any practical experience or a suggested solution that would enable us to use the newer tech but retain the composition we need please?

Cheers,
Pete
