I think i can help with those The second spot is something I already have a shot of.  Not directly above it but you can clearly see that the tracks is not used anymore.

The first request is at where I worked for almost 20 years and that little part of the track is used to deliver liquefied petroleum gas that is used to run the furnace in the plant that is next to the tracks.

I will try and take some photos/video of the areas some day

I'm getting melancholic watching all these old tracks that are no longer in use....

Yeah, it looks like that is what it is used for from google earth.
Hope you can catch a freight train operating there!

Catching a train there would maybe be possible as I still have friends working there, tho I think the problem would be "industrial spionage". Strict no-photos policy :/

I think that won't be such a big issue.
Google already shows us almost everything.

I for sure never got any problems flying around in Sweden.
As long as you keep some height and don't show recognizable persons, the biggest 'privacy' issues will be gone.
And I try to stay away from the logical things (crowds etc. )
