Good day all.  I just fired up my Matrice 210 to find a DJI Pilot update that was required to be updated by October 8, 2019.  Well, I missed that and now it keeps showing that the attempted update was unsuccessful.  I'm using the DJI CrystalSky device and when clicking 'update now', it immediately stops and shows unsuccessful.  Any assistance with this is appreciated as I have a large demonstration on Thursday that I need to fly.

You cold maybe try to delete and re-install the application. If it does not work try to delete the current firmware.

My lab just got two Matrice 210s and are working to get them set up. We are running into the same problem today with a roadblock using the CrystalSky monitor while trying to update the DJI Pilot app with the same "Please update by October 8th" warning. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I managed to get it upgraded today by using the web browser to google the DJI Pilot app.    This downloads the djipilot-Official-release-v1.6.1-20197-20191012-1104-9ac490cfcac40b7be63ea316e086b2e1.apk"  file. then I was able to execute it and it finally installed.  I could not get it to install using the other update methods.

Good Luck.

I did the exact same thing. Open the Browser on the Crystalsky and go to the DJI support page where the firmware update is. The site shows V1.5.0, but it is actually 1.6.1. They didnt change the title on the page. Soon as you start the download, go to DOWNLOADS on the tablet and watch its progress. Click on when its done, and youre good to go.

This worked for me as well. We had to go to the DJI download center via the browser download the and it finally updated.
