Hello folks,

today I try to shoot awesom 4K  video about history monument  but when I got home I was stuned how everything was out of focus.
What did I do wrong?   I guess I`ll have to go there tomorrow again

PS: last few days I was practising some shots with my new Mavic 2 and video was OK, but today I didn`t change any camera setting, as I can recall. maybe I did but still, what was my mistake.

check it out here: you can see before take off, grass is just sharp and vivid..

Get out of auto focus.  Manually focus on something 1/4 mile away and then leave focus alone.  Peaking can help you see what is in focus.

OK, but wouldn`t that make closer object (less them 10m)  just like todays footage - out of focus?

If you get the focus set correctly everything from 3M to infinity should be in focus with this type of lens.

I never got why DJI set Auto Focus as default on these things.
If you are flying that close, you could easily tap focus your subject.
Remember the review from Casey where he thought the image quality of the Mavic Pro was so bad?
It turned out AF was off.

I had this trouble too a month or two ago. Can't always count on Auto-Focus. I too took off and everything was crystal clear, but after that the entire battery's worth of footage was out of focus. You should get in the habit of refocusing the Drone camera on something about 30-50 feet away after take-off. Another thing you can do is set your Peaking Threshold to Normal or Low. If you don't see any red lines around your subject, then you know there is a problem with focus. I find that if your Peaking Threshold is set to High, sometimes no red lines show up.

OK thank you all. I`ll go to that location today again and try to pay more attention to focus.  so far I thought auto focus will do it for me.

You may find this video useful.  I made it after losing a few videos because of blurring.
Starting recording whilst on the ground is the single biggest cause of an entirely blurred video, but have a watch of this....

Not about focus, but looking at your take off it appears you didn't open the propellers before you started,  this adds un-needed strain on the bird.
