I have tested P4RTK and D-RTK2 for about 1 month, several project done (farmlands and urban).... I think its a great gear, fast and accurate... BUT, for me this is worst ir has:
1) The tripod and mounting system its ridiculous. You just cant mount the pole in that tripod and verticalize exactly in a specific point on the ground (manual says it has an electronic bubble and thats all its says about that). I'll try to addapt the D-RTK2 to a regular tribrach
2) When you wanna use known coordinates for the d-rtk2 base station, you can put it only in DMS (Degree Minutes Seconds with decimals), so you have to convert it and enter it by hand. Forget about projection systems hehe
3) I cant belive DJI forgot instruments height.... you dont have any f__ field where to fill it

4) This is a suggestion for new firmware updates: fix the coordinates of the DRTK Base station just where it is using an NTRIP service (right know NTRIP works over the Drone gps). After you have fixed the station (just like a regular GPS), you turn off the service and start transmiting corrections to the drone with fixed position.... it simple and right know i have to use a GPS for doing this.-

Here is something I have modeled up that solves the first problem.

It is essentially designed to be permanently affixed to the D-RTK2 base.   Then it is just a click in to the tribrach.  I 3D printed my part and it works a treat.  Expect to replace it occasionally due to wear on the feet, but considering there is nothing else out there its the best I could come up with.

Increases the accuracy of your capture as well, as the bubble in the supplied tripod setup leaves a lot to be desired.

Happy to provide the .STL if anyone wants to give a go printing themselves.

I may have the .stl. I'll check and if I do, I'll try contacting the maker to get permission to share it widely.
