am i missing something? I have searched and searched. since i got my Spark in Aug. It has never shown full bars on the app for my WiFi. i have changed bands. Stayed away from power. reset this and that but still max is 3 bars which turn to 2 at takeoff. it flies ok to about  D 900 ft @ A 200 ft then the dreaded no signal. I am in the U.S. using a samsung s8 active with controller. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.         I have seen the video. helpful. but my issue is the wifi even set up right next to controller. like i have said i have yet to see full bars. maybe i just got a funky one. at least it was one of those crazy $199 ones from wally world. still a steal.

Try using an OTG cable. I also used to get only about 3 bars when my phone and RC were connected via WiFi.

Have you put your phone to airplane mode before flying?
Mobile networks and bluetooth gadgets can hamper wireless performance easily.
