While I was filming 'regular' stuff during a lunch break, I was triggered by a level crossing that rang it's bells.
On my screen I saw a passenger train, so I was not too excited.
Still I decided to film it, because I like to add moving things to my frame.
But what I had not seen was a single engine that approached from the other side.
Luckily it was just on time to see it when I moved the drone to the other side and my eye catched a moving thing that was not supposed to be there.



On a FB forum I found out later this was a special trip with a camera for a Dutch company called Rigd Loxia
https://www.rigd-loxia.nl/
They (a.o.) register the complete Dutch railway network by filming it.
So that was exactly what this train was doing.

You can see that camera on a photo somebody else took (Klaas Rein Noppert)

Introduced at the Dutch railways in mid '50
So older than most of us I guess.
