Just want to follow up on the issues I had a few years ago regarding the Action taking on water and failing.
On the bright side, customer service was helpful and replaced the camera under warranty, although it did take quite some time to receive the replacement.
Sadly, after just a few uses, the same thing happened again. I originally tried to use an underwater housing, but it would quickly fog due to the high operating temperature of the camera, even with anti-fog tabs inside. Once again, since I had only had the camera a few months, they replaced it under warranty.
And now the third one has been flooded and is dead. If I had used it a lot and pushed it's limits, I wouldn't complain, but I didn't get to use it more than 25-30 times and maybe 8-10 of those were in the water only at the surface.
Additionally, I had bought several accessories, extra batteries, etc. which are now worthless to me.
I really liked the camera and was very happy with the image quality and great stabilization. However, that is the end of my story with DJI and will no longer purchase any of their products.
Back to Gopro I go.
