Hi Everyone,

I have a Phantom 3 Standard.

I purchased this second hand, the drone flies connects to my phone, but I have the following issues.

1. There is no view on the camera when I enter the DJI go app
2. The gimbal/camera says "no SD card" when attempting to update to the newest firmware.
3. Because this is a standard version, I cannot do a firmware update from the SD card.

So I sit with a drone that flies but has no camera view, I cannot downgrade or upgrade the firmware as the AC tells me there is no SD card. There is also no assistant software for the Phantom 3 range.

Could someone please assist me on how to get the camera view back online.

I am willing to try anything short of buying new parts.

The Sd Card Must BE AN Class 10 SD card .....

I have re-installed the DJI Go App from scratch and nothing. I have used different phones as well as Android and IOS

I am using this exact micro sd.

Hi, thank you for reaching out and we're sorry for the inconvenience caused. May I please ask if what mobile device are you currently using? Can you please try to use a different mobile device for us to further isolate the problem? Also, can you please send us a screenshot showing the error message on the DJI Go application. You may refer to the tutorial below on how to update the firmware of your DJI Phantom 3 Standard. Please keep us posted. Thank you!

The cam view is not dependant from usage of any sd card. It´s dependant from the stability transmission signal of feed and telemtry and funcionalty of the cam it self.
If you have no or invalid sd card then the app pops up a message but you have a cam view.

Is there a lens cap on? Hahaha

Yeah, I know, silly question...  ;-)

You might check the ribbon cable from the camera to the drone. Be sure it's seated fully.
