I assume for indoors w/ the cage it's ideal?

I will only get one when Im travelling to a country that I cannot fly the Mavic 2 Pro in.  Until then Im on the fence.

If it’s worth it it’s worth it, doesn’t matter if you have 1 or 10 drones , it’s whether you need or can use it, for €400 it’s great value.

very true,  but Id have the CE version so I think thats easier to travel with.

well my oppinion is if you are tourist and want your family and location videos  for memories, than Mavic Mini is better solution cause of its size and portabilities.

but if you want great videos,  or different landscapes and activities putdoor, and you are advenced user,  then 2 Pro is the ultimate  experience.

the other thing is techical nature. some 10 years ago, most of us watched TVa on CRT type with SD broadcast quality (720x576 pixell).
today full HD is acceptable, but UHD is coming on strong!!  so since Mavic mini can record "only" at 2.7K, imagine those footage some 30 years in the future watching on some super-mega wall sized TV with 120K...it will look like some divX videos from early XXI century on todays TVs!

Does the Mavic Mini even have the Geo-Fencing restriction system?

2 things to consider.
1 : < 250gr might be important in some area's with laws that are less strict for < 250gr drones.
2 : High risk flight that you don't want to lose your $$$$ drone with.

And maybe when you are going on a long hike or something and every gram counts

Especially when traveling it will be really useful, nothing can stop it cuz its only 249g, plus a very cheap price
