Hi. I have just gotten the Mavic mini, but I have problems with my phone. The DjiFly app is crashing. tried it all, and upgraded the remote and the mini. Anyone have any tips here. !

Hello and good day Sheperd. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused you. Have you tried using a different mobile device to see if the issue will still persist? Upon checking the mobile device ( Sony Experia ZX ).
Upon checking the Sony Experia ZX on the recommended mobile device list for the DJI Mavic Mini and with the DJI Fly application. I am sorry to say that the said mobile device is not yet recommended for the said drone and with the said application. I would suggest using a recommended mobile device for the DJI Mavic Mini and with the DJI Fly application for compatibility and reliability purposes. There is a possibility that the Sony Experia ZX will be able to work on the DJI Mavic MIni and with the DJI Fly application. But however, since it's not yet optimized with the said drone and with the said application we cannot guaranteed if it will work all the time and if it will be able to run all the functions of the DJI Fly application while using it on the DJI Mavic Mini. For reference I will post the list of recommended mobile devices for the DJI Mavic Mini. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Thanks for the reply.  I'm not going to buy another device to use here. The phone I have is a high-end phone and cost about 500 USD, and that means I'm not interested in another unit. So I'm sorry to say that I will be returning the mini. No point if I cant use it.

Hi Shepherd, well said, I have a Sony Xperia z5 on android 7 and that runs the latest go 4 app, I also use a huawei mediapad m3 lite 8 tablet on android 7 and this evening download the new dji fly app just to try and all loaded up OK.

My Sony Xperia zx2 has downloaded the dji fly app, but it refuses to install the app, even though I have modified the settings to allow apps from unknown sources. It is a shame that DJI have caused so many problems with the compatability of this app.

Had no problem using Xperia XZ2 and Xperia 5 II with Mini 1 and Air 2.

Is Sony Xperia XZ3 compatible with Dji Mini 2? If not, will it be compatible in the near future?
